Ancient archetypes and enduring myths – resources for stormy times

Talk at Kensington Library – Sarah-Jane Menato & Will Gethin

Monday 29 April, 18:30 – 19:45

Greek myths were written at a time of transition, the end of an older world. Their themes of loss, tragedy and conflict seem prescient as well as ancient in our own current, stormy times. In this evening talk at Kensington Central Library in London, Sarah-Jane Menato and Will Gethin will co-facilitate an interactive exploration into what myths and archetypes might hold and have to offer us today.

Will Gethin, founder of Conscious Frontiers, leads Hero’s Journey workshops and will be sharing his experience of this transformative process.

Sarah-Jane Menato, author of Ariadne’s Thread and The Myth of Happily Ever After, runs her own coaching and leadership development consultancy and will speak about the way she works with myths, and the current relevance of Ariadne’s enduring narrative in particular.

Sarah-Jane Menato: Working as a coach, facilitator, author and consultant, Sarah-Jane runs her own Cotswold-based business. She designs and delivers workshops and retreats that include leadership development, re-defining success and business start-up programmes for women. She mentors women entrepreneurs and also runs workshops using archetypes and myth as doorways to greater creativity and imagination as everyday resources. More information: www.sjmcoachingandtraining.co.uk Her new book, Ariadne’s Thread and The Myth of Happily Ever After was published in July 2018.
