Health & nutrition pioneer, bestselling author

Patrick Holford’s interest in psychology and consciousness led him into the field of nutrition and mental health. In the ‘80s he founded the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London (Europe’s leading training centre for nutritional therapists), and he has since written 36 books available in 25 languages. He is founder of the Food for the Brain Foundation, which has helped define what optimum nutrition is for mental health.

Patrick is frequently involved in government campaigns and debates and has been invited to the House of Commons, House of Lords and the Food Standards Agency as an expert in optimum nutrition.
