City high-flyer launches trailblazing spiritual development programme for women

Former Goldman Sachs powerhouse turned transformation coach, Remi Olajoyegbe – a leading figure in European finance in the early 2000s – has birthed a groundbreaking new mentoring programme for women shaping our future

The first Live session with Remi for the programme begins Wednesday 14 May

Further to working with social entrepreneur, Remi Olajoyegbe – co-founder of Medicine festival – on PR for this multicultural wellbeing event, Conscious Frontiers is excited to have started working with Remi to publicise her groundbreaking new spiritual leadership and mentoring programme for women female leaders – the Isumataq Collective.

The Isumataq Collective offers a radical blend of ancient wisdom and innovative leadership tools to support female leaders to move through blocks, foster resilience and wellbeing, and collectively step up as changemakers for our planet. The programme launched at the end of April and can be joined at any time – the first live session with Remi takes place on Wednesday 14 May, 7.30-9.30pm BST.

Remi has an unusual and fascinating story having traded a career at the top of the City where she ran the IPO desk at Goldman Sachs – raising multiple billions in capital for companies globally – for a more balanced and sustainable work life as a transformation coach to women leaders. Her story highlights her personal experience of how empty success can be for many living uber material lives in the City – she reports having felt a huge void of dissatisfaction and purposelessness despite having all the external markings of high achievement, including recognition in honours lists, such as the Financial News’ 100 Most Influential Women in European Finance (2008).

Remi, who today supports high-level leaders to lead with impact while maintaining the sense of meaning and fulfilment she’d previously found lacking in her own leadership career, says: “I spent years at the top of my game and yet I was haunted by a deep void of dissatisfaction. When not anchored in something deeper than career and material ambition, success merely amplifies the void rather than filling it. Yet like so many high-achieving women, I didn’t recognise burnout when it came, I pushed on – consumed by career, I was unable to navigate the pain of my personal life that lay behind the polish of perfection.

“I trained as a coach and turned to esoteric practices which quickly became my lifeline as I explored indigenous cultures and medicines and immersed myself in everything from meditation, movement practices and energy work, to sound rituals, ceremony and systemic constellations. What started as coping mechanisms, became the foundations of my joy and peace, anchoring me in something real – beyond titles, roles, grades, post codes and the illusion of success. Holding me in my pain and essence, they’ve helped me clarify and commit to my purpose and to lead a life I love, in service to others.”

Isumataq is an Inuit word meaning ‘the keeper of the sacred space in which wisdom reveals itself’ – and likening the esoteric practices she uncovered to those revealed in the mystery schools of old  – for the Isumataq Collective, Remi has extracted the most practical and effective tools that can be most usefully applied to modern life and work. “I see it as a modern-day mystery school for women who are shaping our future,” she says, “that gives them space from their busy lives to step into deeper self-development, honouring and integrating their wounds and messy parts on the road to growth and empowerment, personally and professionally.”

A New Pathway for The Collective Transformation of Women

The Collective’s key principles include:

  • Democratising Elite Leadership Coaching: making transformative coaching accessible to more women
  • Redefining Success on Your Own Terms: empowering women to define success beyond conventional metrics
  • Conscious Collaboration Over Competition: fostering a sisterhood that values collaborative achievement as well as individual greatness, the Collective shares the work of other leading practitioners and coaches
  • Alternative Access Points to Self-Development: providing esoteric tools that create lasting transformation
  • Collective Healing: exploring how individual and collective wounds intersect, in order to harness the power of healthy female networks and drive sustainable change
  • Unapologetic Magnificence: extending from the mantle of service into the full expression of feminine power and greatness

What’s Inside The Isumataq Collective?

Borne from years of working with senior women and understanding their desires and challenges, the online platform has just launched with a monthly Coaching Shorts series,  run over 13 months (which can be joined at any time) proposing to “guide participants through the descent into the shadow and emergence of the feminine”. The series will cover a wide range of topics – from ancestral resilience, grief and burnout, to female relationship ruptures, finding your voice, and the power of prayer and intention.

Corporate Partnership Initiative

The Isumataq Collective invites forward-thinking companies to support women in their organisations by providing affordable access to the platform, empowering authentic female leadership and collaborationin the workplace. “As we shift from a culture of individual success to one of collaborative power,” Remi says, “it’s time to accelerate action – not through burnout and exhaustion, but through aligned, conscious collaboration, that is sustainable, sacred, and deeply ours.”

Join the Movement

The Isumataq Collective is now welcoming women as founding members – whether leading in the home, community hall or boardroom. Hear what other women leaders are saying about the Collective!

“Deep down, women are done with being pitched against each other. It’s exhausting. Comparison sickness is rife, and can be the thief of real joy. Here we get to unpack all these uncomfortable feelings and commit to healing and transformation as a collective, lifting each other as we rise.”
