Conscious Frontiers is delighted to be supporting The Tree Conference again this year, which will take place at Merlin Theatre in Frome on Sunday 21 October.
Now a project of the International Tree Foundation, the Conference will explore citizen-led reforestation, support for ancient forests and the wider re-greening our Earth.
Headline speakers at this year’s event include Isabella Tree author of Wilding; Mary Reynolds Thompson, author of Reclaiming the Wild Soul; Andy Egan, CEO of the International Tree Foundation; and Dr Martin Bidartondo, lead Life Sciences researcher at Imperial College, London and Kew Gardens.
In addition, Peter MacFayden, author of Flatpack Democracy and leader of Frome’s Independent Town Council will be interviewing Ayana Young, the force behind the 1 Million Redwoods Project in north west America; Julian Hight, author of World Tree Story and leader of the ‘Reviving Selwood Forest Project’; Wendy Davis, founder of conservation charity, Andover Trees United; and an extraordinary Forest Defender from the Amazon, soon to be announced!
